The translation bureaus of Reflex operate independently from each other but use the same base of translators/interpreters. Naturally, each office has its own favourites and - although it is not something to be supported - this is understandable. It is not without any reason that certain translators become favourites. Our project managers generally favour those who are always accessible, usually accept all tasks offered, don't miss deadlines, and continually perform their work at the appropriate level.

Although we presently have hundreds of names in our register of translators, the number of colleagues translating to foreign languages as their mother tongue is rather low still, and we regularly have problems during certain periods of the year, such as in July, August, and December, when the order is related to special language pairs and/or fields.

Therefore, we are constantly looking for talented colleagues.

Linguistic and technical reviewers/proofreaders

We accept applications from translators who

are educated at the university degree level,
have at least 10 years' translating experience in one or more special fields,
the target language is their mother tongue or they possess near native speaker command thereof
are flexible with high working capacity
are absolute reliable regarding quality and deadlines.

Interpreters (accompanying, consecutive, and simultaneous interpreters)

Although our interpretation orders only constitute a fraction of the translations, from time to time we still need experienced interpreters in all three categories as well as in several special fields. A few times a year our clients request more than one interpreter at a time from one of our offices.

We invite applications from interpreters who

are educated at the university degree level,
have at least 5 years' interpretation experience in their special field.

We enter newly applying interpreters into our register according to their CV and references. The first job is generally going to be less significant, which is then followed by more increasingly serious interpretation tasks in the case of favourable results previously.
